This kind of lifting platform generally has a certain ground clearance and good passability, and can easily cross small potholes on the ground, small slopes or small obstacles on the ground. For example, in the outdoor construction site, even if there are some uneven places on the ground, it can still travel normally to ensure the continuity of work.
The tyres of some self-propelled lifting platforms are reasonably designed and have good shock absorption performance, which can reduce vibration when crossing obstacles and protect the goods on the platform and the safety of the operators.
The self-propelled lifting platform can achieve high-precision lifting and lowering operation. It can accurately control the lifting height through the control system to meet the strict requirements of height in different working scenes. For example, when carrying out equipment maintenance in the factory workshop, it can accurately lift the maintenance personnel to the appropriate height next to the equipment, which is convenient for the maintenance personnel to carry out the operation, and the error can be controlled within a very small range.
Some advanced platforms are also equipped with a height memory function, which can record commonly used lifting heights, so that the operator can quickly adjust to the preset height according to the needs and improve work efficiency.

Its load capacity varies according to different models and designs, and can generally reach several hundred kilograms or even several tonnes. The platform is usually surrounded by guardrails, and the height and strength of the guardrails are in line with the safety standards, which can effectively prevent the operator from falling down accidentally during the lifting process. In some high-altitude operation scenes, this is an important line of defence to protect the safety of personnel.
Some platforms are also equipped with safety chains or safety ropes. When a component of the lifting system fails, these guards can play an additional protective role to avoid the platform from falling suddenly.

Self-propelled lifting platforms are generally equipped with emergency descending devices, in the event of an emergency (such as power failure, control system failure, etc.), the platform can be slowly lowered to the ground through the emergency descending device to protect the safety of personnel and goods.

IV. Operation Convenience
The operating handle or control panel is designed to be user-friendly and easy to understand. The operator can master the operation of the platform’s lifting, walking and other functions after simple training. For example, the buttons and switches on the operating handle are reasonably laid out, making it convenient for the operator to quickly find the corresponding function keys during operation.
Some platforms also adopt a visual display screen, which can display real-time information such as platform height, speed, and battery power (for the electric type), allowing the operator to understand the platform’s operating status at any time.
